The 2024 music scholarship competition to be held June 6th during the Glenn Miller festival has a new deadline of April 29. Learn more about the competition and a chance to win $3,000 1st place, $2,000 2nd place or $1,000 3rd place in either the instructional or vocal competition. The GMBS, Glenn Miller Collections, the producer and manufacturer share an important responsibility that the audio excellence of the recordings, content value of the documentation,
and visual quality of the packaging must be state-of-the-art and second to none.
With this in mind, our release date will now be on or before April 19, 2024
Our production manager Chuck Granata adds, "An unexpected equipment issue has delayed the completion of the audio portion of the new Glenn Miller package by several weeks. We expect this to be resolved imminently, and that for the work to be completed in time for a January delivery. Therea re many vendors and partners who contribute to the creation of such an independent project, and we must remain flexible to adjust to complications that arise within the production chain. I hope that the delay does not diminish your excitement for this excellent CD set, a first of its kind by the GMBS and Glenn Miller Collections, which will exceed all expectations."
The GMBS is making available a handsome Holiday Card that our customers can share with friends and family for whom the new 2-CD set is intended to be a present.
